My name is Kendall Goodwin.

I just graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Creative Writing.

I’m a writer. This blog is a way for me to assemble my thoughts into words, phrases and sentences that represent how I process reality. My interests are myriad: from politics to music, from existentialism to haute couture fashion, from feminist philosophy to HBO television series. These are the things I write about, and I can guarantee that I will have an opinion on everything.

I’m also a photographer. I don’t have a fancy-shmancy digital camera; just my old Canon AE-1 film camera that my mom gave to me. I love the tangibility of film, the process of removing it from the camera and handing it over to a technician to develop it by hand; it feels more real that way. In my blog, and in real life, I am always looking for ways to marry image and form and present a more full-bodied version of the world as I experience it.
